Chuda Upma step by step preparation with photos: It is also called Poha Upma in Hindi. Chuda is prepared from rice. It is called Flattened rice. It is very good for health. Poha Upma is an easy breakfast recipe. It can be prepared with very lesser requirements and very less time.

- 300grams of Flattened Rice or Poha or Chuda.
- Two medium sized potato.
- 5-6 dried red chili.
- 4-5 Refined Oil.
- 1 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder.
- 1 teaspoon of Salt.
- 2 curry leaves.
- Wash and cut the potatoes into small pieces.
- Cut the onions into small pieces.
- Cut the red chilies.
- Heat the pan.
- Add the flattened rice in it.
- Roast it for some time till it becomes breakable.
- Heat the pan.
- Add the curry leaves.
- Now add the red chilies.
- Add 4-5 teaspoons of refined oil.
- Add the chopped onions.
- Add the potatoes.
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Cover the lid and cook it for some time.
- Add 1 cup of water.
- Boil it for some time.
- Add the roasted flattened rice in it.
- Cook and mix it properly.
How To Make Chuda Upma
Here is the detailed step by step procedure of Poha Upma.
To prepare this Chuda Upma First we will take 300 grams of flattened rice, 2 medium size potato, two onions, curry leaves, salt, turmeric powder, refined oil, red chili.
We will wash the potatoes and cut it into small pieces. Cut the onions into small pieces. Cut the red chilies.
Now we will heat the pan and add the flattened rice into it. Roast it for some time till it becomes breakable in hand. Remove it from the pan.
Again heat the pan and add the curry leaves followed by the red chilies.
Now add 4-5 teaspoons of refined oil and stir it for some time.
Add the chopped onions and fry it till it becomes brown.
Next we will add the potatoes and mix it. Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder into it.
We will cover the lid and cook it for some time. In between, we will check and stir it so that it will not burn.
This time, we will add 1 cup of water and boil it for some time. When it will start to boil add the roasted flattened rice into it and mix it well.
Cook it for some time. Now the Chuda Upma is ready.
